It's funny how you can spend hours on the phone and the internet trying to find a solution to your problem. Everybody wants your money...
I bought the car the day before.
Drove it 350 miles and all was fine.
The next day - I started the car and drove 50 meters before suddenly - I had no radio, no hazard lights, no indicators, no computer, no gauges for temperature or fuel, the speedometre was stuck at 15 mph and the rev counter was stuck at 1000 rpm. Even when the engine wasn't running! I going to was taking the car in for its MOT!!!
So I returned to the house, thinking only doom and gloom of what I thought was going to be a very time consuming and expensive process of obtaining a solution to my problem. After 1 hour under the bonnet and surfing the net and on the phone, the possibility finding a diy solution was looking bleak...
Then, along came what turned out to be the only useful, yet invaluable piece of information spouted by google's mind boggling enormous repertoire - it was the telephone number to this garage.
My first concern - The garage was in London and I was in Yorkshire.
I called the number anyway, and was greeted by a very helpful gentleman, and to my surprise, within 2 calls and 10 minutes had provided my solution and directed me through it's implementation!
The cost? One 25 amp fuse and two phone calls!!
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! EXCELLENT IN FACT!!
Unfortunately the car failed on some minor work, but I can still rectify those problems, as at least, I was able to take the car in!
If I ever have a problem again with my car, I know the expert advice and excellent service is right here :D

I have been lucky to have my car serviced by Ales for the last four years. Although an X registration, it runs beautifully and I have had no major problems with it.
